The bow sash (or bow-faced sash) is a unique and particularly attractive form of sash window.
Existing in a few different formats depending on the window’s age, types include both the true bow-faced sash (incorporating bent glass which provides the curved effect) and also units where the panes of glass are flat but the curve of the frame achieves the bow effect.
Providing excellent light penetration and a lovely focal point in rooms, they are often found with matching curved seating areas built around their inside face.
